Following the temporary closure of its stores in March due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ryman has announced that 15 of its stores will reopen next week as part of a phased approach throughout June and July. Following the Government’s guidelines easing lockdown restrictions, Ryman will re-open its stores in Manchester Arndale, Newcastle Under Lyme, Crewe and Gower Street on 15th June. Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Sale, Leigh, Muswell Hill, Chiswick, Wimbledon, Hammersmith, Kings Road, Clapham Junction and Kingston will open later in the week.
Ryman has continued to trade online throughout lockdown, to support customers with working, learning and playing at home.
Theo Paphitis, Ryman Owner and Chairman said: “Ryman has been serving customers on the UK’s high streets for nearly 130 years and we are all looking forward to getting back to serving our customers in store, as well as online. The team has gone over and above to make sure that we can trade safely, and be an important part of the community once again.”
To ensure that customers and colleagues remain safe and are complying with Government guidelines, the stores have put the following measures in place:
Ryman’s store reopening plan will prioritise the safety of colleagues and customers, and ensure that they are supporting the High Streets, Towns and Shopping Centres as soon as possible, with further stores being opened in the next few weeks.
They will also be reintroducing their Click & Collect service from most stores in early July, to pick up next day with contact-free collection.
