Pilot’s Pintor Art Markers have won Craft Product of the Year at the Best of Craft Awards 2019, previously known as the International Craft Awards.
After 20 weeks of reader nominations, consumer voting and celebrity judging, The Pilot Pen Company (UK) was awarded the Craft Product of the Year award for its Pintor Art Markers.
Best of Craft Awards, which was founded in 2003 by the publishers of Crafts Beautiful and PaperCrafter, received 28,000 reader nominations and votes, and reached 1.2m crafters.
Sarah Crosland, editor of Crafts Beautiful, said: “Our awards are a celebration of all those talented individuals and quality brands admired and voted for by our readers. We are very proud to be part of it.”
Pilot’s marketing manager, Stuart Barker, added: “We are absolutely thrilled that our Pintor markers have won the craft product of the year award as this was an incredibly competitive category.
“We were convinced when we launched Pintor back in 2018 that we had an exciting new product and to pick up this award confirms that and demonstrates that we have class-leading products in the arts and crafts category.”
