Top Drawer has announced the finalists of the sixth PaperAwards, sponsored by G. F Smith.
The S/S19 PaperAwards, to be held at Top Drawer in January 2019, support and recognise creativity and innovation in the Greetings & Stationery exhibitors at Top Drawer.
The PaperAwards include three categories within the Greetings & Stationery sector: Exciting Use of Colour; Emotive Design; Engaging Print. The shortlisted brands are as follows:
EXCITING USE OF COLOUR
Lagom – Magic Numbers
Dear Alchemy by UWP Luxe
The Art File – Mulberry & Olive
Lagom – Maya Stepien
The Cardy Club
The Art File - Fossile
Under One Cloud
Alejandra Campos, show director of Top Drawer, said: “This season’s PaperAwards received a record number of entries, and they were of such a high quality that we decided to expand the shortlisted for each category from five to six.
“Now in their sixth edition, the PaperAwards have become a highly respected and effective initiative to recognise and support these incredible publishers and designers, giving them exposure to the very best retailers through the show, as well as all our marketing and communication channels.”
One of the PaperAwards judges, Emma Hawkins of Fortnum & Mason, added: “The PaperAwards are a great opportunity for us to get a sneak peek at all the wonderful ranges being showcased at Top Drawer in January next year.”
Clarion Events, which runs Top Drawer, has also recently announced that it is relocating PULSE London, its other design event, to run alongside Top Drawer for its Spring and Autumn shows at Olympia. The co-location means that the previously announced dates for Pulse, of May 12-14, are no longer valid.
