For the new Retailer categories in the Stationery Awards 2019, both specialist retailers and those who sell stationery as part of their offer are eligible for the five awards, which are designed to recognise and benchmark good practice and innovation in the retail sector.
Although retailers are welcome to self-nominate, the Stationery Awards organisers are keen for agents, account managers or suppliers to nominate and enter their favourite retailers for as many categories as they wish.
The five new retailer categories are:
Best Customer Experience Initiative
Best POS/Merchandised Display of Stationery
New Store of the Year
Best Specialist Stationery Retailer
Best Non-Specialist Retailer
All entries should relate to the past year of trading, from January 2018 to January 2019. The online entry form should be completed by 15 February at www.stationeryawards.co.uk.
Hazel Fieldwick, event manager of Stationery Show London, said: “The entry forms are very straightforward and we encourage everyone to upload photos and POS images etc to support their entries.”
Please note that the Stationery Awards are now open to ALL stationery suppliers, not just those exhibiting at Stationery Show London, as was previously the case. The closing date for entries from suppliers is 29 March.
Relevant industry judges will announce the finalists of each category ahead of the show. The winners will then be revealed at an Awards Ceremony which will, for the first time, be a standalone event at a location near the Business Design Centre after the first day of Stationery Show London, 30 April, 2019.
