British company Maped Helix, which has been making stationery for more than 130 years, has geared up for its busiest time of year. The company has created custom-made, easy-to-assemble freestanding display units (FSDUs), aimed at offering effective promotional solutions to its broad range of retailer customers around the UK.
The Back-to-School-themed FSDUs will display products set to be on sale nationwide from July in more than 1000 outlets, including Asda, Poundland and Tesco. The FSDUs feature Maped Helix’s pencil cases and a range of stationery for customers to mix and match from a range of 10 items at just £1 each.
The brand has teamed up with Merlin Entertainments to give young customers the chance to win an amazing prize for their family. Maped Helix is asking customers to take a photo of themselves next to the Alton Towers image on the Poundland FSDU and upload the picture to their Facebook page to be in with a chance of winning a short break for a family of four to Alton Towers Resorts, with an overnight stay. Other prizes include a class trip to Alton Towers plus a Maped Helix school stationery bundle.
Lianne Fletcher, marketing manager at Maped Helix, said: “Back To School is the busiest time of year for us and we’re experts in making the display and sales process go as smoothly as possible for our trade partners.
“We want to make product selection as easy as possible for our customers and think our innovative stationery pick ‘n’ mix displays do just that.
“We’re really pleased to continue our relationship with both large retailers and smaller outlets, and our ability to offer marketing support and bespoke display units for in-store use continues to enhance our offering to them.”
