Following two successful previous collaborations, British designer Paul Smith and writing instrument manufacturer Caran d’Ache have teamed up for a third time. The designer’s signature stripes are a feature across the collections in a fresh new colour palette.
The new collaboration sees Smith transform the Caran d’Ache 849 ballpoint pen - his everyday writing companion - with his distinctive Artist Stripe. The pen comes in a choice of eight coloured cases, each one representing an Artist Stripe: rose pink, petrol blue, coral pink, peacock blue, pistachio, racing green, damson purple and orange.
The partnership also extends to the Caran d’Ache Supracolor range of soft water-soluble colour pencils. Each of the set of eight pencils represents a colour of Paul Smith’s Artist Stripes.
