Formerly known as The National Calendar Awards (NCAs), The Calies return for a second outing following last year’s debut.
Launched in 2017 by Max Publishing, the Awards recognise excellence in the calendar, advent calendar and diaries sector, including retail, charity and corporate (B2B) titles.
The Awards are free to enter and are now open for entries. Diary and calendar producers are asked to submit their 2019 products, while advent calendar producers can submit 2018 titles.
The calendar market is a vibrant sector, with more than 16 million calendars sold in the UK every year. One in three homes has a calendar on the wall. There are over 40 different calendar publishers in UK market, not including those who produce diaries and advent calendars.
The Calies are the successors to the National Calendar Awards (NCAs), which have been running for the last decade (which in turn were a progression from the National Business Calendar Awards which initially only recognised business calendars).

The closing date for entries is Monday 1 October. Winners will be announced at an event taking place at Stationers’ Hall, St. Paul’s, London, on Wednesday 28 November.
