For the first time, legacy pen company A.T. Cross and contemporary jeweler Hearts On Fire have collaborated on a gift collection of rare distinction. The Everyday Brilliance Collection showcases The World’s Most Perfectly Cut Diamond® – the exclusive signature of Hearts On Fire – on a curated selection of finely-crafted, iconic Cross Pens.

Sharon Buntain, Chief Strategy Officer & Head of Global Partnerships for Cross, notes that the partnership is a natural match. “The founder of the Cross Company descended from five proud generations of jewelers, and, like Hearts On Fire, we’re passionate about the design process and well-known for our exacting quality standards.” Strategically debuting in time for the Valentine’s Day season, the Everyday Brilliance Collection offers discerning gift-givers a unique new choice and adds a welcome element of luxury to the daily act of writing.

Two well-loved Cross ballpoint silhouettes comprise the collection. Cross Classic Century and Century II are the icons of the brand, top-sellers across the globe for generations and chosen because they have had a remarkably wide appeal year after year. Timeless style and excellent performance make a winning combination. Both pens are available in a distinguished polished chrome plate finish or a pearlescent white lacquer with fine rose-gold plated appointments. The crowning jewel of each pen is a hand-selected .10 carat Hearts On Fire diamond set in the conical top. There is an exceptional sparkle due to the proprietary Hearts On Fire diamond cut.

This collaboration is inspired by the shared desire of both brands to provide their clients with gifts of gratitude to the people who make their lives meaningful. Everyday lifestyles have changed quite a bit over the last year, resulting in an increased interest in writing among consumers. Gift-givers are showing a renewed appreciation for products that are authentically crafted, relevant to daily life and enjoyable to use. An inspired choice for Valentine’s Day, the Everyday Brilliance Collection also commemorates weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and more, in exquisite style.

“Now more than ever, we are reminded that it’s the little things in life that bring us joy”, says Stephanie Evans Greene, VP, Brand & Online Retail, Chow Tai Fook North America, Hearts On Fire. “We are beyond thrilled to partner with Cross on the new Everyday Brilliance Collection and add a little extra sparkle to everyday life. We look for brilliance not only in our diamonds, but the partners we choose to collaborate alongside. Cross upholds the standards and quality that is first and foremost in the Hearts On Fire brand and they have produced the perfect gift to celebrate someone special, honor a meaningful occasion or to treat yourself with.”

As Cross marks its 175th anniversary in 2021, the company acknowledges a long history of sharing in the traditions of its customers. A fine Cross Pen has been the gift of choice for generations, chosen to recognise life’s milestones and frequently passed down through the years. “Cross Pens are distinct from other pen options because they’re backed by an industry-leading Lifetime Mechanical Warranty and so this is a partnership of two names customers trust”, concluded Buntain. Every Cross Pen undergoes strict performance tests and inspections during production, designed to be easily refillable and reusable for a lifetime of enjoyment. The pens in the Everyday Brilliance Collection can also be engraved with a name, message or meaningful dates, allowing consumers to create gifts that are one-of-a-kind.

The Everyday Brilliance Collection is available in limited release through cross.com, heartsonfire.com and select online distributors in the US and UK only including johnlewis.com and cultpens.com.
