Pentel has announced two new appointments to its account management team. Michelle Somerville joins the company as channel manager business to business, and Kyle Partridge takes on the newly created position of key accounts manager.
Michelle joins Pentel with nearly 15 years’ experience at BIC, most recently as country manager for BIC Graphic. Her previous roles with the company included field sales manager for UK and Ireland in the cash and carry wholesale channel, national account manager B2B and field sales representative B2B. In her new role Michelle will develop and manage customer relationships and devise activity to support the education channel, commercial customers, buying groups and corporate gift customers.
Commenting on her appointment, Michelle said: “I am delighted to join the Pentel team and look forward to meeting all of my customers over the coming months, including those who know me already, and working on plans to develop exciting new opportunities for them with the Pentel brand.”
Kyle joins Pentel from West Design Products/Design Objectives, where he was key account manager, responsible for delivering annual turnover of £1.4 million and creating sales and marketing strategies to secure strong company growth. His previous positions include business development roles in the homewares and furnishings industries, where he developed a strong affinity for creative and decorative products.
As key account manager for Pentel Kyle will manage E-commerce clients and create targeted strategies to support business development plans.
Kyle said: “I’m looking forward to working with everyone at Pentel and especially to meeting my new customers and helping them grow their business with the help of some exciting new products, plans and initiatives from Pentel.”
